Saudi SASO certification
Application process and data of certification
1., customers provide samples, fill in the SASO application form (signed and sealed), and provide commercial invoices, proforma invoices and packing list to us;
2., we will test reports, CNAS certificates, SASO applications, commercial invoices, proforma invoices, packing list, product photos, submitted to the ITS or SGS related personnel audit;
3. ITS or SGS approved by us for payment;
4. arrange the inspection time and prepare the inspection. After the inspection, the customer should provide the final packing list and invoice, and finally confirm.
More than 5. is correct, after ITS or SGS draft certificate confirmation, customer confirmation draft certificate, if correct, within 2 working days can be closed.
Product certification form
PCP requires each batch of goods arrive Saudi port shall be accompanied by a uniform certificate of conformity (CoC:Certificate of Conformity), without carrying to Saudi port of import goods will be denied entry. Customers can choose CoC in three different ways depending on the frequency of product exports.
Route 1: Conformity verification
Before or after shipment, the exporter or supplier applies for on-site inspection and testing before shipment to determine that the product meets the necessary safety, environmental or other standards specified by the Saudi technical regulations. CoC certificate will be obtained after the result is qualified. This approach is applicable to situations where the frequency of exports is not high, such as the frequency of exports less than three per year. This approach is recommended
Route 2: Registration (Registration) and on-site inspection before shipment
The exporter or supplier will provide delivery samples for testing and, after testing, the product of this model (or serial model) will be certified, and the registration shall be valid for one year. Within the time limit, the registered products only need on-site verification before each shipment and shipment, and the CoC certificate shall be obtained after the check result has been qualified.
Technological process：

From July 9, 2013 onwards the provisions of ITS products exported to Saudi Arabia inspection fee made the following adjustments and inspection to conduct on-site inspection.
The value of the product is lower than 6W USD, and the inspection fee is 400USD;
2. The value of the product is between 6W-20W and USD. The inspection fee is 400USD+ (value -6W) x 0.005;
The value of the product is higher than 20W USD, and the inspection fee is 400USD+700USD+ (value -20W) X0.004;
The above cost does not include field testing fee.
Note: the above prices do not include tax, from November 1, 2012 onwards, value-added tax invoices need to increase the tax rate of 6%; SGS without on-site inspection.
Places requiring special attention during inspection
1. Tag language: English or arabic;
2, instructions, warning: Arabic or Arabic + english;
3, products and packaging or labels should be printed with "MADE IN CHINA" words; (MADE, IN, CHINA must be non removable way, reflected in the product and packaging, can not use ordinary stickers affixed);
4. Voltage: 220V-240V or 220V; current: 60Hz or 50/60Hz; voltage and frequency must include 220V/60Hze);
5, plug: plug must be inserted (BS1363 plug) British tripod;
6 all hand held power tools and household articles must have Arabic instructions;
7. No SASO LOGO displayed without permission from SASO registration is displayed on the product or packaging, so as to avoid the goods and therefore be refused customs clearance at the port of destination by the Saudi customs;

SASO certification profile
The kingdom of Saudi Arabia to import local and domestic product implementation plan of mandatory standards, in order to protect the public health, consumer safety, homeland security, justice and Islamic Saudi Arabia Saudi trade environment, and beware of fraud. The Saudi Ministry of Commerce in 1995 the implementation of product conformity certification program (PCP), which is a set of conformity assessment, inspection and certification program, the plan under the control of products shipped after Saudi customs to customs clearance, to enter the kingdom of Saudi arabia.

The following are not the consumer products: medical instruments; medical products; food; military products.
It is forbidden to export products include: Saudi weapons, alcohol, tranquilizers, pork, pornography, brewing equipment, fireworks, Christmas tree, nutmeg, mask, videophone, performance of animal and human toys or statues, more than 40 varieties.
