What is NOM certification?
NOM certification mark is a mandatory safety mark in Mexico. The product is marked with NOM to indicate that the product conforms to the relevant standards. The following products must be accompanied by the Mexico safety signs
1. electronic or electrical products for families, offices and factories; (NTEK)
2. computer LAN (LAN) devices; (NTEK)
3. lighting fixtures; (NTEK)
4. tires, toys and school supplies;
5. medical equipment;
6. cable and wireless products, such as cable telephones and wireless telephones; (NTEK)
7. all products driven by electricity, propane, natural gas or batteries must be tested in Mexico before entering the country.
