What is CSA certification?
CSA international certification authority (CSA International), founded in 1919, is one of the most famous product certification bodies in North america. CSA certified product is very popular in the United States and Canada buyers (including: Sears Roebuck, Wa1-Mart, JC Penny, Home Depot) recognition. Many of the world's first-class production enterprises (including: 1BM, SIEMENS, apple computer, BenQ, MITSUBISHI electric motor) as CSA opened the North American market partners. CSA certification process
1. Fill in the initial application form and hand it to the CSA In1ernationa1 together with all the instructions and technical data of all the products (including all electrical components and plastic materials).
2, CSA 1nternatio choke l will determine the cost of certification according to the specific circumstances of the product, and then notify the applicant company by fax.
3. After confirmation by applicant company, a formal application form and notification will be sent. The notice contains the following requirements:
A, after the formal application form is signed, the telegraphic transfer certification fee can be paid by RMB to the Office
B send the test sample to the designated location as directed.
4. The designated laboratory will be certified as required.
5, after the completion of the certification test, will be issued to the applicant company a preliminary report (Findings Letter), detailed as follows:
A, how can the product structure be improved to meet the standards?.
B, which will be used to complete other information about the certification report
C, please review the contents of the Record (Certlfioation) draft by applicant company.
D and CSA certification marks and methods for obtaining shipping marks.
E, factory testing required for product (Factory Tests).
6, CSA International will applicant company to answer the above fifth questions to be evaluated
7. At the same time, CSA International will prepare a certification report (Certification Report) for product production reference and tracking inspection.
8, at this stage, in some cases, the CSA International will go to the factory as a lFE. Factory (Initial Evaluation).
9, and finally CSA International will together with the certification record (Certification Recard) issued a certificate (Certification of Compliance), authorize the applicant company in its products with CSA certification mark.
10, applicant company and CSA International signed a service agreement (Service Agreement), in order to indicate that both sides agreed CSA International to the factory for product tracking test. The applicant company pays an annual fee (A warm Fee) to maintain the agreement.
