In 1992, it was promoted by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which was first popularized on computer products. Energy Star certification process

The energy star Energy Star certification process is as follows:
1, in the energy star certification before submission of products, you need to join the New Energy Star Partner, signed the Agreement agreement;
2, select the EPA accredited RTL laboratory and delegate the relevant tests;
3. Complete lab test and issue report;
4, select the certification organization with CB qualification audit report, audit OK, certification, and submit the certified products to EPA;
5, EPA audits OK and lists Energy, Star, and Qualification on the Energy Star web site.
In addition, the follow-up EPA and CN certification institutions at least 10% annual certification products (affixed with Energy Star products) for verification testing, if the test does not meet the requirements, will be removed from the list of qualifications.
LED lights and lamps apply for energy star, you must also provide the following reports, if there is no such report, you need additional applications and testing:
