CU certification of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan
Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan Union (CU Union) (Customs), followed by the 768th low-voltage equipment safety technical regulations will be enforced since February 15, 2013. The technical regulations cover a wide range of products, covering the voltage of 50V~1000V, AC and 75V~1500V DC electrical products, including home appliances, audio and video products, information technology equipment, lighting equipment, etc..

The implementation process of the technical regulations is as follows:
In September 2, 2011 before the certificate can be used for the valid certificate of the end.
Certificates obtained during the period from September 2, 2011 to February 15, 2013 are valid until March 15, 2015.
Since February 15, 2013, all products under the jurisdiction of the Customs Union (CU) have to apply for CU certification. By then, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will suspend the issuance of the original independent certification, including Russia's GOST-R certificate.
