Formerly known as the National Radio Management Committee (State Radio Regulation Committee, SRRC) of the China state radio monitoring center (State Radio Monitoring Center, SRMC) is currently Chinese, can only authorized testing and certification provisions of the radio type approval mechanism. At present, China has set a special frequency range for different types of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies are legally used in china. In other words, all radio transmitting devices sold or used within their borders specify different frequencies. In addition, the applicant must pay attention to certain provisions of the radio transmission equipment category, not only for the radio type approval certification ", also must apply for Chinese compulsory certification (CCC) and / or into the network permits (MII) approved.
The national radio monitoring center is the public institution directly under the Ministry of information industry of the People's Republic of China, which mainly undertakes radio monitoring and radio spectrum management, and is the support organ of China's radio administration.
The center has 10 offices, 1 National stations, 8 National shortwave / satellite stations, 1 FM stations and 1 data backup center. The existing staff of 152 people, of which: 117 in Beijing, 35 people outside Beijing, with undergraduate education, 119, accounting for 79% of the total number of workers. Among them, there are 96 titles above the intermediate level, accounting for 63% of the total number of workers.
The front center always stand in the work of radio monitoring in our country, do a good job of daily monitoring, detection equipment, spectrum research, repeatedly performs outstandingly in the protection of civil aviation navigation special spectrum and the protection of national major activities during the radio information security monitoring and many other major tasks, play an irreplaceable role in the national radio management work.
In recent years, the center has continuously strengthened the construction of qualified personnel and the construction of technical facilities, and has effectively promoted the modernization and scientific management of radio. At present, the national radio management information network has been basically completed, the National Radio shortwave monitoring network and the national radio satellite monitoring network has begun to take shape, Beijing and surrounding areas ultrashort wave monitoring network is stepping up construction. The center also has a world-class testing laboratory for radio equipment.
