All the lead-acid batteries imported by Saudi Arabia must be accompanied by a certificate of conformity, referred to as CoC, to prove that the products meet the requirements of the corresponding standards.
The certificate must confirm that these products have been tested in the country of origin under the supervision of a qualified organization.
The SASO CoC certificate is mandatory, and any goods that do not obtain the certificate or do not meet the requirements of the conformity assessment program will be rejected at the port of destination.
